about galt collegiate institute

Galt Collegiate Institute and Vocational School is one of fifteen secondary schools in the Waterloo Region District School Board. Because of its storied history G.C.I. has been designated as a historic landmark in the Cambridge, Ontario area and is the oldest continuously-operating educational institution in Ontario; 2002 was the 150th anniversary year for the school.
